Our Mission
At Concordia School Counseling, our mission is to provide compassionate mental and spiritual health that is Biblically sound and clinically effective.
Referral process
To refer your child to individualized school counseling sessions with their school counselor:
- Call the school's main office number
-Email the school counselor
- Contact your child's teacher
Once the school counselor has received the referral and spoken with the parents an intake packet will be sent electronically to gather additional information.
Confidentiality
The supportive counseling relationship between students and the school-based counselor is confidential in nature.
Parents and teachers will be informed of generalities such as attitude and engagement in the supportive counseling process as well as any interventions that have been successful. The school counselor is also a mandated reporter if there are any concerns for abuse or neglect.
